Handler policy
Main Handler:
- Dogs cannot attend class without their main handler.
- Must be 18+ and the dog’s owner.
- Dogs cannot attend class without their main handler.
- Attendance at Orientation and Week 2 is mandatory.
- Two main handlers allowed if both meet standards.
Secondary Handler:
- Can handle dog with the main handler.
- Must be a household member.
- Age requirements: 6 for Puppy, 16 for Core Manners.
- This person can change during the course.
- Secondary handlers are optional.
Cornerstone Classes

Cornerstone classes are **required** for all teams entering TTK9, regardless of past experience— including professional dog trainers. Our advanced material relies on groundwork your dog hasn’t learned yet.
Purpose-built, our fast-paced cornerstone classes rewire communication and target handler fluency using behavioral sciences, psychology, biopsychology, neurobiology, ecology, ethology, and motivational techniques to create clarity, drive, and resilience, unlocking advanced concepts that make complex behavior possible.
